Every year when harvest arrives in the valley, we go crazy picking this fruit and that vegetable. We love the entire ritual of walking into an orchard smelling the air and then finding the perfect cherry, apple, or what ever the fruit may be and then eating it on the spot. Every year we would come back to the same spot to pick fruit and surprisingly every year the fruit will taste slightly different. Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s the water, but the difference in taste brings so much inspiration to our conserves. We make small batches, and once they are gone you’ll have to wait for the following year. This year we have 3 different flavors:
Bing Cherry Cacao Nibs
Dark Bing cherry flavor intensified with chocolate flavor from Cacao nibs.
Plum Rainier Cherry Rose Chardonnay
An elegant combination of Japanese plum, Rainier cherries, and rose petals. Chardonnay adds a kiss of brightness.
Dulce de Leche
Created due to popular demand, we decided to create this spread for all our Dulce de Leche truffle fans. It starts with wholesome milk, cream, and sugar, then patiently cooked for 8 hours to develop a rich milky caramel flavor.
